Introduction to

PRS/Competition Shooting

 

  • Course includes all equipment and gear needed, as well as lodging and meals! Ammunition must be purchased separately.

 

  • Covers core elements of competitive precision rifle shooting, including caliber selection, essential gear, tripod deployment, stage structure, scoring, and efficient position transitions.

 

  • Provides realistic match-style experience with fast wind evaluation, timed stage runs (90 seconds to 2 minutes), and multi‑target engagements from varied positions.

 

  • Allows students to train with personal gear or provided equipment in a fast‑paced, highly engaging environment designed to elevate overall shooting proficiency.

 

 

Course Requirements

A rifle capable of a 1 MOA group or better at 100 yards. Rifles are available at no extra charge. All rifle systems will be suppressed, requiring a threaded barrel. If you do not have a suppressor, one can be provided.
Much like precision rifle matches, calibers are typically smaller (not magnums): .308 or smaller, not exceeding 3200 FPS. Below are some popular cartridges:

  • Course Fee: $1,200

    Round count will vary per person. Likely 250-300 rounds
    Class size is a minimum of 2 and maximum of 5 students.

Inro to
PRS Shooting

This course will expose you to as real of a precision rifle match as it gets, without actually being at a match.

First Class Instruction

This one-day class will discuss caliber selections, required gear, tripod deployment and uses, what a stage is, how the scoring process works.  

Small Class Sizes

Class size is small. Minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5.

We will provide breakfast and snacks.
